Dustin Leed is a Philadelphia Flyers die-hard and considers himself a hockeyholic. He is interested in all Philly sports, but none more so than the Broad Street Bullies.
Dustin grew up in Lancaster county,about an hour northwest of Philadelphia and has been addicted to vulcanized rubber for as long as he can remember. He is awaiting the hoisting of Lord Stanley’s Cup with his Flyers so he can sob like a little girl. He has played organized hockey since his early days, and continues to do so.
Dustin had his first real newspaper experience in 2003. He had an internship with a small paper in his hometown. For his high school paper, he had a weekly column and was the papers sports editor. Dustin majored in journalism at IUP, wrote for the college paper and was a host on a sports talk radio show.
In 2007, Dustin was offered a Sports Writing position at the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era, where he still works today.
Dustin can talk sports for hours on end, if any of you readers,Flyers fans or not, have questions or just want to talk sports, just ask.
